Our girls are on a roll. San Elijo Girls U12 Team did it again.
Madison's team the Energizers won their respective Regional Division Playoffs. We then advanced to the semi-finals by finishing inthe top of our pool. In the Area Playoffs we faced some stiff competition from North Park, Kearny Mesa, San Marcos and La
Costa. But, we pulled off the gold! The girls were amazing and played with a lot of heart. It was pouring rain and freezingbut they never faltered. We were so proud of their
determination and strength. The girls were very excited that Grandma Melendez was their to witness their victory. She had a ball watching and cheering Madison
and Kate on. The games were all so close in goals we couldn't contain ourselves. We were all running up and down the field ignoring the
awful weather conditions.
We now are on our way to Sectionals in Garden Grove starting in February. Don't
worry, our girls will be ready!
