Payton was SEES student of the month for March! She was recognized for the character trait- Self Discipline. We received an email from Mr. Versteeg stating she was chosen and would be honored at the awards flag salute. We decided to not to tell her and let her be surprised when they called her name at flag salute. And she was so surprised! I wish I had gotten a picture of her face when the principal called her name. She was smiling ear to ear. Her teacher also sent home a note stating all the reasons she was chosen. Rob and I were really proud of her. It's so neat to see your child get noticed for being a good kid. We already knew she was but, coming from someone else is a bonus!
